the staff at Travelers House were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. They even arranged a complimentary airport transfer and provided a simple breakfast. the building, although an old British structure, was generally clean and offered excellent value for the price paid. Adel, in particular, was very patient and provided helpful tips for exploring Cairo, including recommendations for dining and ways to save money. I felt welcomed and at home throughout my four-night stay. Cons: No issues 😊.

The staff were very helpful in arranging our luggage to meet us, and the reception was open 24 hours.
As I can understand that it was a difficult time during the protests. But after numerous phone calls to organise transport to the hotel they were quite unhelpful. Immediately after one phone call to the hotel I was informed that the hotel was in the centre of a dangerous and voilent protest. This was not even mentioned in our conversation. I believe we should have been warned that where we were entering was extremely unsafe, instead we were told to make our own way there and no mention of anything else was made.

location was very good and the price was good value
The staff took us for wealthy people and offered an extortionately priced desert camp trip, with alot of deliberate confusion over the the price and what was included. Left a bitter feeling because alot of effort was put into building our trust only to discover it was to swindle more money from us

The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay during our Easter holiday. the location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to important sites and attractions in the area. - We particularly enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to assist us during our stay.
We had a negative experience with certain members of the staff who tried to take advantage of us and overcharge for a tour we had booked. This left a sour taste and made us question the honesty of some of the employees.

Variance of the breakfast

The bed was good.
The breakfast was so poor. Just bread and coffee. If you travel to this hotel, be careful with the services you hire there. We took a private car to visit the pyramids, and the driver took us to a place for renting camels, and tried to force us to buy there. They were charging 10 times the price we finally got within the Giza square.

The value for money at this hotel was great, the room was clean and comfortable. The location was unbeatable, right in the center of everything in Cairo. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
The breakfast offerings could have included some fresh fruits for a more complete meal experience.

location
never slept because of traffic, 1 towel for 3 days, no curtains, no windows you could see out, these people are trying o start up but the hotels is on the fourth floor in a busy area, we were shocked when we arrived to a door way, and a lift that only went one was, bookings said fabulous, yes right for people from the amazon jungle, dont get me wrong the people were helpful, but there were no facilities and this certainly was ot as described. you get what you pay for in egypt, if you dont stay 5 star you will regret it

The personel was always helpful. Additionally they were very frank about things that were highly advertised but which were not worthwile to be seen ( for tourist freshly arrived that is a good thing to know!). The first time we entered our room, we were terrified because of the noise that could be heard from the street, but closer to 2 - 3 a.m. it is getting quite and in the morning untill 11 a.m. there is nobody in the streets so you could have a decent sleep:)
There were no towels in the room and no trash bin. If you ask for it, they give it but you do not find it in the rooms upon arrival. Additionally, when you arrive, don't get scared by the entrance from the street ( we had the impression we got to the wrong address but there was a sign indicating that the hotel was on the 4th floor so we just had to find the courage to get to the 4th floor and find a nice causy hotel.

The staff were really friendly and helpful during my stay. They always had a smile on their faces and were willing to assist with any questions or concerns I had. The location of the hotel was great, as it was conveniently located near many attractions and food options. I also enjoyed the free Wi-Fi that was easily accessible throughout the hotel.
One of the worst aspects of my stay was the noise level. There was a lot of traffic outside, which made it difficult to sleep at night.

very good location and the people from the reception were very friendly and helpfully, reasonable price.
the building is just next to the main street so it was quite noisy even in the midnight, the room wasn't clean enough.
